Jakarta – Giring Ganesha alias Giring ‘Nidji’ mantap memutuskan terjun ke dunia politik melalui Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI). Untuk merayakannya, Giring menggelar syukuran di kediamannya, Pondok Pinang, Jaksel.
Acara ini digelar di kediaman Giring, Jl Deplu Raya, Perumahan Pinang Residence, Pondok Pinang, Jaksel, Jumat (8/9/2017). Turut hadir dalam acara ini adalah Ketua DPP PSI Isyana Bagoes Oka serta keluarga Giring dan kerabatnya. Acara syukuran ini digelar secara sederhana.
Dalam acara ini, istri Giring, Cynthia Riza, menceritakan awal mula sang suami terjun ke dunia politik. Ia mengatakan, Giring ingin terjun ke dunia politik karena terinspirasi Presiden Joko Widodo.
“Pagi-pagi langganan koran, baca, up to date soal politik. Kalau di rumah Ibu, di meja makan pasti diomongin politik. Sudah nggak asing lagi buat Mas Giring politik,” kata Cynthia.
